APILE v2018, developed by Ensoft, Inc., is a geotechnical analysis program for evaluating the axial performance of single piles and drilled shafts. It helps engineers estimate ultimate capacity and load–settlement behavior in both compression and tension using nonlinear load-transfer methods (t–z for shaft resistance and q–z for end bearing). The software models layered soil and weak rock profiles, supports common pile types and construction methods (driven and cast-in-place), and accepts soil parameters derived from laboratory data and in-situ tests such as SPT and CPT.

With APILE v2018, users can assess load sharing between shaft and toe, generate load–settlement curves, review mobilized resistance with depth, and check selected factors of safety. The program provides clear graphics and professional reports to support design submittals. The 2018 release offers a streamlined interface, efficient data entry, and improved visualization for faster workflows. APILE can also supply axial resistance curves for use alongside Ensoft’s GROUP software when evaluating pile groups.

APILE v2018 is well-suited for transportation, industrial, marine, and building projects that require reliable, defensible axial foundation design.

APILE v2018 is developed by Ensoft, Inc.. The most popular version of this product among our users is 1.0. The name of the program executable file is WINAPILE2018.exe.
